Plan and track the result of your Dodgeball.
Dodgeball is a game where two teams compete on opposite sides of a tennis or basketball court, or any open area of similar size. A number of balls, usually between 5 and 9, are set up along the center of the court, and when the game is started, players rush to get the balls back to their players waiting behind them. Once they have the balls in hand, they begin throwing them at the opposite team members.
The object of dodgeball is to eliminate players by hitting them with a ball below the head, running them out of bounds, or catching a thrown ball. Players who hit another player in the head will also be eliminated. When one team is completely eliminated, the game is over and the opposing team wins.
Dodgeball has often been played in elementary and middle schools during physical education classes because it builds a stable and focused body. It also adds a fun aerobic exercise to the classes that children enjoy enough to participate in fully. A Workout and Fitness Planner will help you fit this great sport into your own exercise regimen.
Dodgeball is no longer just for young children. Dodgeball has made it into high schools, colleges, and there are even international leagues. People are beginning to recognize the value of the game for inclusion in a rounded Workout Schedule.
You will want to get together with your Workout Friends to set up an event to play dodgeball sometime in the near future. A game of dodgeball can be a social event, but it can also be a strenuous exercise activity if you are interested in taking your game seriously. Use the Workout and Fitness Tracker to monitor your dodgeball games.
